What to Expect from Counseling
A supportive environment is critical for our mental and physical health. No matter the issues at hand, all clients are treated with respect, kindness, and an absence of judgement. This is the foundation for my counseling practice and one of the key differences between seeing a professional and talking with a friend or family member. You can be sure that not only will you be treated with warmth and fairness, but also with the utmost respect for your privacy. This level of confidentiality allows you the opportunity to address parts of your life that perhaps you have not yet been able to discuss or fully resolve. I am also passionate about supporting clients address issues related to trauma and work with clients from a trauma-informed perspective.
Please note that I am currently seeing clients for video sessions through an encrypted telehealth program called VSee. You can use this app or program on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Find out more by emailing LFR@LindsayFRichardson.com.
